Support for the creation of a multi-disciplinary innovations analysis for the energy transition – setting up a multi-disciplinary centre of expertise for the energy transition

The aim of the project is to create a multidisciplinary competence center for the energy transition that identifies, monitors and evaluates trends in technologies and innovations relevant to the energy transition. In addition to the energy sector, other relevant topics will be considered, particularly in the areas of transport and mobility, industry, the digital sector, and cities, homes and buildings.

EnTEC represents the central project of the EU Commission's Directorate-General for Energy with regard to the identification and evaluation of future trends in the field of energy transition. The multidisciplinary competence center is intended to serve as a catalyst for the energy transition in the EU and contribute to the creation of a more sustainable society.
